Preventing Homelessness

Reach survivors before they are homeless to help them remain safe and stable in their own communities, through assistance with flexible funding, access to housing protections, and housing advocacy.

Flexible Funds

Survivors’ economic challenges can take many forms and can threaten safety and housing stability. Flexible funds can make the difference, and programs are using them are seeing great results.

Homelessness Prevention

Leaving home can have destabilizing impacts on survivors and their children. Helping survivors remain in the safe housing they have achieved is a promising alternative.

Federal, State, and Local Laws and Protections

Awareness of the laws that provide housing protections for survivors enhances our ability to be effective advocates.
